Fans of the 'Evil Dead' films that live in the Connecticut area may have something to look forward to.
All three actresses from Sam Riami's gory low-budget 80s'cult classic will appear at the Matrix Conference Center in Danbury for the Connecticut Horror Fest on Aug. 27.
Betsy Baker, Theresa Tilly and Ellen Sandweiss will sign autographs and meet the public along with other horror luminaries -- Ricou Browning, who is best known for his role as the Creature from the Black Lagoon and director George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead) will among them.
And of course the first season of the television series is set to appear on DVD and blu-ray on Aug. 23 -- the same say as the sixth season of 'The Walking Dead.'
