EllisCon XXVII - A Tabletop Gaming Convention in Danielson, CT

November 13, 2015

EllisCon is H H Ellis Technical High Schools own game conference. The event is a table top game conference featuring all sorts of wargames, RPGs, CCGs and minis . The event is hosted by the Simulation Club, HH Ellis Technical High School's game club - with David Carter being the adviser.

"Our convention usually sees about 200 people through the door, and we have about 8-10 vendors. We might be small, but we are the best game conference in North East Connecticut." , says David.

We asked David to fill us in on the highlights of this weekend -

"Our con has its roots in historical mini games.  We are fortunate to have a local group, Battle Group Boston South, here in town, and they are some of our biggest gamers.  This year they want 5X24 of table space to do a scale battle for Holland, 1940, from "A Bridge too far. The HeMan movie, Fall of GraySkull, will be big and our game auction at 5:00pm is a favorite.".

Other cool events happening this weekend at the convention will be the Super Smash Bros Melee tourney with a $100 prize pool, and a Magic the Gathering event that has a prize pool also of $100.
