NWI Comic Con is back this year! We truly missed this event, as it always kicks off our convention tour for the year. And also it's such a great small-town convention. This event has literally grown over the years with 3 venue changes due to attendance increasing each year.
I was back once again as one of the Adult Cosplay Contest Judges. This year, my fellow judges were HDC Fabrication and James Wulfgar.
We had a great time judging this year's contest, and I have to say we had a tough decision picking the winners since there were so many cosplayers who brought their A-game to the contest! It's amazing and refreshing to see all these talented cosplayers And we loved talking to them about their craftsmanship, or knowing about their first convention and how much they have enjoyed the experience.

Of course cosplay was not the only thing I looked forward to at the event.
We saw Pete from Imagining Games, RPG Writer Rick Heinz, Ben Miller and Julio Guerra from Guerilla Publishing Group, Logan Arch, Mandy Madrox, Darryl Young, Jewell Walton, the Satrun Sisters - just to name a few.

At the end of the show, I joked with showrunner, Brian Grabinski, that they're going to need an even bigger venue next year because this past weekend's turnout was incredible! It's nice to be a part of this convention over the years and watching it consistently grow in size. We've always felt "at home" for the warm and inviting atmosphere and we look forward to being a part of this event in many more years to come.
