The Chicago Reader has just released the results of its annual reading poll featuring the top entertainment, food, and services in the city. Geeks A Gogo's Chicago team does a lot of work reviewing some of the top geek happenings in the city, and we would like to congratulate the winners whom we have had the pleasure to highlight in the past year.
First of all, congratulations to Tiffany Keane Schaffer, who was named best stage director for her work with the theater company she runs, the sci-fi-focused Otherworld Theater. We recently just reviewed her amazing show, Rogue Aviator and we have been bringing you news about her work since her 2015 production of Queen Amarantha. Congrats, Tiffany!
As well, we want to congratulate another Otherworld Theater member, Mary Kate Arnold, who was named runner up for best actress. We have featured her work many times, but probably our best feature was our interview with her for her work in Otherworld's production of "A Princess of Mars". Congrats, Mary Kate!
And possibly the biggest win was chef Reagan, whose restaurant, Elizabeth, has been named the best overall restaurant in Chicago! We have featured Elizabeth twice for it's Game of Thrones-themed dinners that run at Elizabeth, typically in the spring and summer. Congrats to the staff at Elizabeth Restaurant, and Chef Reagan!
