Fans of Gaslight-era have much to enjoy this month.
Not only has 'Riper Street' started its fourth season, but the ninth season of "Murdoch Mysteries' has arrived on DVD.
In addition, the CBC has released details regarding the show's forthcoming tenth season and it sounds pretty tantalizing (the introduction of H.P. Lovecraft as a character, in keeping with the program's tradition of brining historical figures into the stories, should itself be worth checking out).
The show flirts with Steampunk elements but stays grounded in the mystery genre. It is a good mix and should get a foot in the door for more varied fare in this vein.
