Don of the Dead

On August 27, zombie film icon George A, Romero will appear at the CT HorrorFest in Danbury, Connecticut.

Romero is best known by zombie lovers for directing the original 1968 version of 'Night of the Living Dead' -- the film that virtually invented the modern zombie genre. He also directed the sequels 'Dawn of the Dead,' 'Day of the Dead,' and 'Land of the Dead' -- all cult classics in their own right. He also effectively rebooted his own series with 'Diary of the Dead' and 'Survival of the Dead.'

In other words, there would be no 'Walking Dead' or 'Resident Evil' without this guy... More information of the event is available at http://horrornewsnetwork.net/ct-horror.
