We will have their comics on hand for purchase and signing! About Double Take Comics: Double Take is launching a new comic book universe. We have assembled ten teams of talented writers and artists and asked them to start their stories in the world established by Night of the Living Dead. Then we let our imaginations, and our zombies, run wild. Mostly, these are new stories star new characters. But if you love the classic film, you won’t be disappointed. You can follow your favorite film characters from their first appearances, to their dying breaths, to their first baby zombie steps. Double Take launched our universe with a big bang; we published all 10 of our first issues in a collection called Genesis; we collected all 10 of our first issues Genesis I Super-Pack, and we are doing the same with our 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th issues (Genesis II, III, IV and V.). We couldn't be more excited to host the release party for the first KAIJUMAX collection with creator ZANDER CANNON! Kaijumax was not only one of our favorite comics of 2015, it was also one of our-best-selling: The first issue was our 51st best-selling comic book of the entire year. Soon, the entire first arc will be available for a long life on your bookshelf. We're so excited about a future of recommending Kaijumax as a trade paperback, that we've not only commissioned a new Ex Libris Challengers bookplate to be included FREE with the first 100 copies sold, but we're also bringing out creator ZANDER CANNON for a signing and a launch event! Zander will be here on Friday, February 26th, from 7pm to 10pm, and he'll be signing comics and enjoying our free beer. Won't you* come and enjoy a free beer with him? Last August we held our very first mini comic con in the store. Our own mini artists alley, if you will. We liked it so much that we decided to hold our very first SECOND mini con. We'll have several guest creators displaying their own merchandise. In addition, we'll have give aways from a few publishers, and in store specials.
