The late George Romero's apparently much-anticipated final film, 'Road of the Dead,' is currently in production, according to a variety of online sources Although he was only producing the film, it deals with a rather bizarre facet of the usual zombie apocalypse scenario and obviously bears his mark.
But will the film hack it? The last zombie film that he directed, 'Survival of the Dead,' is almost universally regarded as a dud -- even the maestro was capable of a misstep.
As the film nears completion, we will take a closer look at what it may have to offer.
