DBQ CON Returns to the Five Flags Center on Sept.30 and Oct. 1 
DUBUQUE, IOWA– DBQ CON returns to The Five Flags Center for its third and biggest year yet on Saturday, Sep. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017. 


DBQ CON will feature comic books, gaming, and all things pop culture. New to the event this year is the Artist and Autograph Alley, sci-fi and comic themed painting sessions with Pinots Palette, cosplay hair and make-up classes from Capri College, multiple panels and celebrity Q&A sessions and a cosplay contest with $1,000 in cash and prizes.


Current celebrity appearances include Frank Fritz from History Channel’s American Pickers, Mike Henry, a.k.a “Horny” Mike from History Channel’s Counting Cars, former WWE superstars Bob “Hardcore” Holly, Jimmy “Mouth of The South” Hart and Billy Gunn. Naomi Grossman from American Horror Story, Steven Vining from AMC’s The Walking Dead, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, Triple 9, and most recently Guardians of The Galaxy 2, and Mortal Kombat actor, Daniel Pesina, best known for his roles as Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Smoke, and Noob Saibot will also be at DBQ CON.  

Other attractions include vehicles the General Lee, the DeLorian from Back to The Future, a replica ’67 Impala from the CW’s hit show Supernatural, the Galena Ghostbusters vehicles, the Kiss Kar and Optimus Prime®!  The Saturday event is from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and the Sunday event is from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Ticket prices start at $15 and are on sale now.
